About Us
Rosemary and Jonathan Wood have set out to create a relaxed, comfortable environment to complement the atmosphere of an historic house. Both are keen supporters of local organizations in Ludlow.
Rosemary is involved with the conservation of the town's magnificent parish church, St Laurence's, while Jonathan's interests are mostly concerned with Ludlow's history. He is Chairman of the Ludlow Historical Research Group and as a town guide needs little prompting to answer questions about The Merchant House's history. 
Rosemary's culinary skills are readily apparent in the breakfast whilst Jonathan maintains that the quality is wholly dependent on the way in which the meal is served!
